A good therapist is reeeeeeeally hard to come by, at least in my experience.
Its like finding a good pair of fuzzy socks. Yes, no one thinks of the importance of socks but alas it is socks that keep your entire body warm during the cold months. It protects your feet from blisters. But you want a pair that doesn’t ride down, that is thick enough for heat and blister-free walks and doesn’t make you break into hives.
Shanelle is a great fuzzy pair of socks. She listens to you but isn’t afraid to give you the reality check you need. She doesn’t shame you for the thoughts and feelings you have. She caters to you, your needs and quirks: me, I like homework and lists, so she gives me homework.
Yes, the work is hard and uncomfortable, but she’s always there to guide you and support you.

Shanelle is fantastic. But I think at the end of the day what matters is YOU and how committed you are to being the best version of yourself. Only then can she REALLY help make a difference in your life.
